About Us

Althea Luehrsen and Jeannie Parent are seasoned senior executives who bring a wealth of practical wisdom to their clients. After 'retiring' from their C-suite roles, they sought to create a program that would help women advance in their careers, providing the support and guidance that was not available to them during their own career journeys. With over four decades of combined experience in publishing, entrepreneurship, nonprofit, and corporate sectors, both Althea and Jeannie have a rich background to draw from.

Their professional journeys began in humble roles as secretaries, and through years of dedication and hard work, they climbed to the top of their professions. This firsthand experience of the challenges and obstacles women face in the workplace inspired them to create Next Level Leadership, a program designed to ease the path for the women following in their footsteps.

During the COVID-19 pandemic, Althea and Jeannie, who had already been coaching individuals for years, decided to formalize their expertise by earning executive coaching certifications from the University at Buffalo. This process, which involved ten months of weekly virtual sessions, not only solidified their friendship but also deepened their commitment to coaching and developing others.

Both Althea and Jeannie are passionate about helping women overcome the difficulties they have witnessed throughout their careers. They are dedicated to making the professional journey less challenging for women, ensuring that the next generation of female leaders has access to the resources and support needed to thrive.
